WNA's market outlook for the world nuclear supply chain is now available. The report complements WNA's report on the world nuclear fuel market, which was published in September 2011. The world market for nuclear power plant components is expected to grow at around 3 per cent a year and is worth US$40 billion a year according to WNA mid-range estimates. A much more international supply chain has developed, bringing in new suppliers from Asia in particular. The report examines some of the challenges facing the sector, including pressures for localization of manufacturing, the introduction of leading edge construction techniques and ensuring very high reliability and quality in component manufacture.
The World Nuclear Supply Chain: Outlook 2030 is available at £750 a copy. For those wishing to purchase this report and the 2011 report on The Global Nuclear Fuel Market, we offer the two at a total price of £1,200.
